Palliative Care with Restorative Health
Palliative care provides comfort and relief from serious illnesses that are life-limiting. It is available immediately after diagnosis and can be given alongside curative care.
We focus on pain and symptom management specific to your needs and health care goals. Our focus is on quality of life more than quantity of life. We help patients and families understand their options.
We provide palliative care services in offices, at home, and in other living facilities. We develop a personalized care plan based on patient and family goals. This plan can include pain relief medication, care coordination services, and emotional support from our therapists.
What is Palliative Care?
World Health Organization (WHO) defines palliative care as “an approach that improves the quality of life of patients and their families facing the problem associated with life-threatening illness, through the prevention and relief of suffering by means of early identification, assessment and treatment of pain and other problems, physical, psychosocial and spiritual”.
How We Help
We provide palliative care to patients in a variety of settings.
Home Based Care
This care serves as an extra layer of support to help you manage your illness and remain independent at home.
Other Living Facilities
If you are receiving care in an assisted living we can work alongside your healthcare team to provide palliative care in that setting.
'I came to understand that Restorative Health's care is a doorway to improving life, not a doorway to death. They provided me with information and education that helps me to move forward.'
—Matthew, cancer patient
